KID’S KLOSET MISSION

The mission for our sales is to dedicate the profits to furthering the welfare and education of God’s children in this community and beyond by whatever means necessary to bring glory and honor to, and build the kingdom for, our Lord, Jesus Christ. “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:24)

In keeping with that mission, we make financial donations to ministries serving children at Saint John, in our community, and around the world. We also donate large amounts of unsold donated items.

IN-KIND DONATIONS

Many of our consignors are kind enough to donate their unsold items. Some go to needy families in the community. Others go to ministries serving children. Once we have met all the specific requests, the rest of the donations are given to a charity such as the United Methodist Mountain Mission or the Red Cross branch serving military families at Ft. Knox. Donations have also gone to areas hit by natural disasters. Below is a partial list of other ministries who have received in-kind donations.
